Marlia

The Marlia easy chair, takes its lead from the early ideology of ercol’s design notes in the 50s, drawing on the original ercol Windsor chair, with its turned legs and economical use of materials. The use of solid oak enables soft profiling on the Marlia arms and legs. The upholstery takes inspiration from the 427 ercol easy chair with its floating seating, the Marlia reflects this same look, with no visible cross rails giving the upholstery a similar floating feel.

 

The deep cushioning, lightweight frame and compact size echo the same values for the home, in a time when we are living in smaller homes. The requirement for lighter styled, compact furniture is key, simplicity in form with a comfort in function. This deep upholstered chair is covered with trend lead fabrics to add a splash of colour or texture to complement existing furniture within any room in the home.
