1. See them in action
Pull-out beds are some of the most common sofa beds, containing a separate mattress within the sofa itself. This separate section is concealed underneath the main cushions and is manually pulled out with fold-out supporting legs beneath the mattress section.
With this mechanism, the bed is pulled out from the front of the sofa, with the bed lifting from the base. The back of the sofa remains in place and this makes them ideal for placing against a wall or in an alcove.
